I Need Money Now

Needing quick cash now challenges you to dig dip within yourself for solutions to the problem. Are you consumed with the thought, “I need money now” or “I need money quick”? When faced with an urgent need for money, most of us have limited options. One option is to borrow the money. Get a payday loan, car title loan, or a loan from a friend. The first two options are very costly. By borrowing from friends and family, you could lose a friendship or become estranged from a family member if you don’t repay the loan. Working for the money is the best choice, if paying the loan back seems all but impossible.

Ebay and Craigslist allow you to empty your closet and sell unused electronics, keepsakes, and furniture that are in good condition. Used furniture stores and some second hand clothing stores buy slightly used items. Garage and yard sales are another way to sell your own property and make money.

Sell your labor. Go door to door if you have a lawn mover or gardening skills. Offer to rake leaves in the fall or cut lawns in spring and summer. Housecleaning is moderately lucrative work. Most people pay above minimum wage for housework. Work three hours and earn a minimum of $30. Most people already have the skills to clean houses and earn money.

Lastly, the internet offers some opportunities to earn money, but be prepared to wait up to one month or more to be paid. The incomes are minimal. You do save on gas and travel time, so the low pay may seem fair in the long run. You can write articles for many websites with pay ranging from .01 cents per word to $25 for a 300 word article. Complete surveys; work on HIT’s for Amazon Mechanical Turk; or complete tasks for Cloud Crowd or MicroWorkers. Most make direct deposits into your bank account or PayPal.

Getting last minute funds is a daunting task. Whether you sell your stuff or your labor, working in person or over the internet, money can be raised quickly. Don’t lose heart and you will find the right avenue to make the money you need. Examine your strengths. Know your time line to raise the money and how much is needed. If one thing doesn’t work, quickly try another until you have success.
